If you haven't already guessed it, my name is Alyse!  I started Alyse in Wonderland in 2012 right before I went on a 3-month backpacking excursion around Europe. Originally it was a place to share my photos with my friends and family without bombarding everyone on Facebook, but blogging quickly stole my heart and I've kept it up sporadically as a diary of my life & travels ever since. It's become a place where I can share my love of travel, photography, beauty, food, and storytelling with like-minded people who love to inspire one another.

Where do you live/where are you from? 
I'm originally from San Francisco, but I've been splitting my time between SF and Dublin, Ireland since 2013. Dublin is where I currently live and work!

 Why did you move to Ireland?
I originally moved to get my Master's Degree because I couldn't afford to do it America. I chose Ireland because education is cheap and it's an English speaking country! I stayed because I fell in love. 

 Are you Irish? 
According to my Ancestry DNA test, I'm like, 6%? So no, not really!

What do you do/is this your full time job? 
This is not my full time job, I have a day job working at a large tech company.

What camera do you use? 
I have an Olympus Pen EPL-5 and a Nikon D5300, but honestly? I shoot 90% of my photos on an iPhone 11 Pro Max
