I've never discussed this on my blog before, but I am a massive beauty lover. Fashion has never been my thing (I haaate shopping for clothes), but makeup, haircare and skincare give me the starriest of eyes. I spend entirely too much time & money trying out new swanky products and yes, I'm a sucker for cute packaging. So I hope you guys are okay with me foraging into new territory and sharing some of my beauty favorites! Cheers to new beginnings, right?

Okay. Let's get into it.

OGX Coconut Miracle Shampoo & Conditioner ($8.99 ea):
I love a good bargain but I will NOT sacrifice quality. Most of the stuff I've used for my hair in the past has been pretty expensive, so when I found these beauties I had very low hopes for them. Silicone free, paraben free, sulfate free, ethically sustainable, infused with coconut oil AND ONLY $9???  Needless to say, they blew me away. My hair is left feeling clean, moisturized & silky soft like any of my more expensive products have done in the past. Note: do NOT use if you have normal to oily hair, this particular line is for dry/damaged/heat styled hair, but check their website! They have products to suit everyone.

VERB Dry Shampoo ($14):
I bought this on a whim without looking at any reviews (something I never do) and it ended up being the best decision ever. Best dry shampoo I've ever tried (and I've tried a LOT), makes my hair voluminous and very clean with a light fresh scent. The product is white (typically unfortunate for dark hair like mine) but is easily worked through without residue. The pointy tip allows you to REALLY get into the roots, which is so handy.

The Ordinary 'The Buffet' Serum ($15):
This entire brand can take all of my money. I can't believe how this stuff has transformed my skin. If you suffer from dehydrated skin this is incredible, chock full of high quality moisturizing ingredients and SO CHEAP. I can't wait to try more of their products!

Benefit "Galifornia" Boxed Blush ($30):
Got suckered in so bad by this packaging. Shiny and colorful with 1960s vibes - I caved instantly. Luckily it's the prettiest coral with a subtle sheen, perfect for spring and summer.

Sunday Riley 'U.F.O.' Facial Oil ($80):
Expensive. So, so expensive. I couldn't even muster the courage to buy it myself, I asked for it for my birthday. But Sunday Riley products are just insanely good. This stuff + The Ordinary serum have given me the best skin I've had in years. If you suffer from acne or congested skin, this is a godsend. And no, it doesn't turn your skin green!

Charlotte Tilbury 'Bronze & Glow' ($60):
Another violently expensive product I shamefully asked for for my birthday, but no lie - if I lost it, I'd repurchase it the same day. A beautiful product in every sense, and lasts a VERY long time on the skin. I also find myself using the mirror in it a lot!

& Other Stories 'Perle de Coco' Body Wash & Body Scrub ($15 ea.):
& Other Stories recently opened in Dublin and I was keen to try some of their bits, so I picked these beauties up and I'm really enjoying them. I've never been brand loyal to a body wash or scrub, but I think I'll definitely pick these up again when they run out. The wash is pretty standard but I LOVE the scrub. They smell sweet, like caramel-y baked goods, so if that's not your thing then stay away (or pick up another one of their lovely scents) but these are supposedly the most moisturizing out of the lot. Boyfriend approved!

Holographic Makeup Bag ($3):
Picked this up at Primark (hence the lack of linkage) and I'm including it because it's gotten SO much use. It's the perfect size - not too big, not too small. Fits all my essentials and makes it so I can't overpack. Also, I am a holosexual (Simply Nailogical reference, anyone?) and love how shiny and pink this is, it makes me happy every time I look at it.
