Twenty-Five Facts About Me

First and foremost, I just need to brag a little bit here - I FINALLY figured out how to add a back button!! Yes friends, now all my posts are easily accessible. Check out my sweet sidebar.  I realize no one gives a crap about this except me but DAMNIT I am proud of myself! All html/web-building knowledge I know has been self-taught, hence why it's taken me too long to figure it out. I truly had a little moment of pride when I triumphed!

Oh, I also figured out how to add comments to my posts. Not that I'm actually expecting anyone to comment, but I did leave the option to be anonymous open, so if you feel inclined please do it! You'll make my day! Or ruin it depending on how mean you decide to be.

March was my "saving money month," so no travels happened. Three months in and I've already fallen off my New Years resolution to take a trip once a month! I'm sad, but my bank account is happy. Hopefully April proves to be much more exciting for me - I've got spring break and my 23rd birthday to look forward to! But until I get around to those shenanigans, I find myself back in a place where I have writers block. Luckily, I found a post going around some of my favorite blogs where people wrote 25 facts about themselves to let their readers get to know them better. Thought it was a fun idea, but I actually found it surprisingly difficult. It's interesting having to ponder things about yourself. Give it a try!
  • I'm left handed
  • I hate the smell of coconut because I used to have a boss that I HATED, and she smothered herself in coconut body butter. Now I associate the smell with her. She ruined it for me!
  • I'm a very organized, tidy person and I like when things look pretty
  • I love, study, and completely believe in astrology
  • I have very sensitive eyes. The world is just too damn bright. I am that weirdo wearing sunglasses all year around. Sometimes I even have to wear them indoors or at night :(
  • I have an abnormally large & long tongue, so much so that I've had an orthodontist talk to me about tongue reduction surgery (ain't nobody got time for that)
  • I don't do drugs, I don't smoke, and I stay away from alcohol for the most part. I do indulge in it, but very rarely.
  • I love directing theatre & can officially say I've directed a Tony award winning play
  • The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is my favorite thing ever
  • I'm a very anxious person and I do unfortunately get panic attacks rather frequently
  • I have a huge sweet tooth, I just want to eat cake and cookies and pie all day forever
  • I come from a very very tall family. At 5'9", I'm the shortest
  • I love cartoons, comics, graphic novels and anything that combines art and storytelling
  • People think I'm joking when I tell them I want to live in/own a massive castle. I'm not. That is literally one of my life dreams. Preferably somewhere in Europe or the UK.
  • I'm a massive music lover & I have over two weeks worth of music in my iTunes
  • My personality isn't particularly girly, but I do enjoy stereotypical girly things like make-up (especially make-up), shoes, perfume, jewelry - all that jazz
  • I don't wear my heart on my sleeve
  • I overanalyze everything
  • Heath Ledger was my dream man. Some other celebrity crushes: Chris Hemsworth, Jake Gyllenhaal, Liam Neeson, Slash, Colin Kaepernick, Colin Firth and Brian Wilson (the baseball player not the musician!) - I fully realize that is the most random list of people ever
  •  I've hosted two radio shows
  • I'm a classically trained singer, though I haven't sang since college
  • I hate extreme climates. Living in California has spoiled me. Anything above 75 and below 45 and I'm not a happy camper.
  • I joke about being pessimistic and bitter and forever alone, but in reality I'm extremely optimistic and romantic
  • I don't watch sports very often, but when I do I love it. I tend to get overexciting and really involved
  • Whenever someone tells me they read and enjoy my blog it makes me crazy happy. I write for myself, but it's amazing knowing that someone else appreciates it.
